Subterranean termites can maneuver through the ground and migrate from house to house; in their quest for food, they will travel up and cause damages to parquet skirtings, floors, doorframes, and even roof structures. Post Construction treatment is suitable for buildings that are already up and completed.

While it is not possible to lay a complete chemical barrier under the building; we can create chemical barriers at entry points along perimeter walls, near water pipes and other strategic locations where the subterranean termites are likely to enter the buildings.

Post construction treatment or corrective treatment begins with the technician conducting a thorough inspection of the premises to determine the location of the subterranean termite infestation; followed by usage of appropriate termite control methods in these established locations. Subsequently, it may involve creating entry points in the flooring for the application of liquid termiticide into the ground, after determining the right locations.

The non-repellent termiticide applied slowly kills the subterranean termites by affecting their central nervous system. When termites enter the treated soil, they pick up doses of the active ingredient and return to the nest. Over the following days, other termites are affected through contact. The best results for the corrective treatment are attained through the proper understanding and application by trained Technicians.
