July 2012 CSR News | Rentokil Initial in "Giving Back" to Kota Bharu

Rentokil Initial contributed to the members of Yayasan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Kelantan (YAATIM), Rumah Puteri Harapan, through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
Approximately 18 of Rentokil Initial employees that participated were given a warm welcome from 150 children and 10 members of Yaatim .The programme started off with a Pest Awareness Talk (PAT), underlining the dangers of Aedes mosquitoes and Dengue prevention measures. A Personal Hygiene Awareness Talk (PHAT) took place afterwards, emphasising on the difference between clean and hygiene, good washroom habits and proper hand washing steps to prevent Hand, Foot and Mouth disease.
Interactive sessions such as quiz and outdoor games created excitement among the children of YAATIM. The winners were then presented with goodie bags. Rentokil Initial Kota Bharu also donated provisions worth RM300 and carried out general pest control and fogging treatment surrounding the home compound. Refreshments were served to everyone towards the end of the CSR programme and photos were taken to be kept as memories.
