Rentokil History

Rentokil has been a market leader in pest control ever since we were founded in the UK back in 1927. We started out as a small company but soon started to grow thanks to the reliable service we provided. When war broke out in 1939, the UK’s dwindling food stores could not afford any shortages due to pests — so we were called in to assist and we have grown continuously ever since.

In October 1996, Rentokil acquired one of their largest competitors in the business support services sector, BET, with the aim of widening the scope of our operations. Adopting one of BET’s strongest brand names, Initial, the decision was taken to create two global brands for the company 'Rentokil' and 'Initial', one of which would always be an excellent brand prefix for any service, anywhere in the world. Thus, Rentokil Initial was born.

Rentokil Pest Control has been in Malaysia for more than 40 years and has been providing effective and reliable pest control to both commercial and residential customers since then.
